About the Village of Silverton

Originally on the map as an outlying farm community settled in 1809 that served as a train and railroad stop associated with the city of Cincinnati, Silverton was incorporated in 1905 and quickly became the region’s largest village. Today’s Silverton is a vibrant, diverse and inclusive community, offering an eclectic mix of unique businesses and well-built homes known for their craftmanship and beauty. An inner-ring suburb of Cincinnati, Silverton features a mix of businesses and residential living in a walkable community that is favorably situated close to downtown, uptown and the bustling Kenwood retail corridor.
